  1. Powder is a key product to helping your foundation stay on!  I'm all for dewy, glowing skin that looks like skin particularly for bridal clients so powder does not have to look cakey, ageing or as mattifying as some people think it does. Just a light dusting will set your make-up and get rid of any excess shine and control the natural oils in your skin (remember we want dewy not shiny!).

I'm currently using Smashbox Photo Set Finishing powder in my kit and find it works great. It's a very finely ground translucent powder which glides on the skin to leave a lovely velvety finish without being drying.

  2. I'm a massive fan of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge range. Pot rouge are cream blushers for cheeks and lips and they are great for brides as they give you a beautiful sheer, natural flush that looks dewy and lasts all day. They can be applied to the apples of the cheeks with either the fingers or a foundation brush and they also work wonders on people with dry or mature skin as the creaminess lifts dry, dull looking skin to give you a glow.

These little pots of wonder get a 10/10 from me!
