  1. For years I have raved about the Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Eyliner! I am a real eyeliner kinda girl-for my own make-up I am always wearing Bobbi gel liner in black ink in a 1950s style winged look.

The Bobbi Gel liner is perfect for bridal make-up as its waterproof and doesn't budge so great if you think you may have a little weep! It comes in 13 shades (and the ocassional limited edition colour) if you find black is a touch strong for you 'sepia' or 'granite' give a slightly softer look but still make your eyes pop out on photos.

  2. I absolutely love Le Teint Touch Éclat Foundation from Yves Saint Laurent! I was first introduced to it by a client of mine who had just bought some for herself and really wanted me to use it for her bridal make-up and I have to say I was very impressed! The foundation seemed to glide onto the skin and gave a lovely finish-illuminationg and radiant without being shiny.

I was that impressed that when I got married myself in February 2013 I decided to pop along to the YSL counter and try it out for my own wedding. After being colour matched I loved the results. The really silky finish on my skin looked great, the foundation has a medium coverage yet buildable formula for those areas you need a bit extra and has great staying power (a must in my eyes for a foundation).

Le Teint Touch Éclat Foundation was launched in 2012 with the aim to bring the wonders of the Touch Éclat brightening pens into a foundation. It is available in 22 shades and retails in the UK at £30.50. It promises to perfect the skins texture, even out complexion, conceal imperfections and enhance natural beauty. definitely worth a try!
